DzymeTech - Lead testing made easy.
The DzymeTech lead
test is a simple, quantitative test that allows for
detection of lead at or below EPA standards for lead
in drinking water. The test is performed by taking
a 1 millileter water sample, injecting it through
the sensor housing, and into a culture tube. This
sample is then analyzed by the fluorometer, and
quantitative results are reported in less than a
minute.
The current fluorometer has simple, one touch
operation for the quantification of lead in water.
The unit powers up when plugged in, or can run off
of batteries. After a brief initialization, it’s
ready for sampling. As the water sample is injected
through the sensor housing, the sample button is
pressed. The light blocking design of the housing
allows it to remain in place during testing. The
flourometer then samples for about thirty seconds,
and reports any lead detected in parts per billion
as well as micromolar concentration. The sample is
automatically date and time stamped, assigned a
sample number, and the unit is ready for another
test.
